tagged in roscoe village

graffiti is big in chicago, so much so in fact, that you can't even buy spray paint within the city limits anymore. and tagging seems to be the dominant form, though there are some more "artistic" spots throughout the city.

these are just a few of the ones i notice on my walk home everyday. it's kind of interesting to me what objects people choose to leave their mark on... like it's some comment about their personality, beyond the flourish of their particular tag.
